Alright, the other tab up here does sound good, but its a pain in
the ass to change tunings, so ive got two alternatives.
The problem with this song is, its not played on a guitar. Its some
chinese intrument. I wasnt sure, but then i saw them live. So, no tab
can be "correct." But heres what i think sounds better, and its an easier
tune.
Now, few of us have the intrument hes playing. But i know a couple of ways
to simulate the sound. One is obviously to pluck really close to the
bridge, giving you that "twang" sound. You will also notice that the
intrument being played has much less sustain then the average guitar.
You can kill your sustain by weaving a piece of grass, or a thin piece
of paper through the strings, right next to the bridge. This can also
give you the sound of a banjo if you strum chords hard!

But, im getting carried away. hehe. So heres the tab

Normal tuning:
e--------5-2-------2-0--------------------------------------------
b------------------0-0-3-------0---0-------------------------------
g------2----------0--------------2-----------4-2-4------------------
d----0-----------2-----------2-------2----------------------------
a--0---------------------------------------2-------2-------------
e-------------------------------------------------------------

Now, if you want a deeper tone, you can still achieve it with a simple
drop D tuning. Drop D isnt a pain anyway, it takes two seconds

e-----------5-3---------------------------------------------------
b------------------------------0---0-------------------------------
g--------------------4-2---------2-----------4-2-4------------------
d---------0---------0--------2-------2----------------------------
a-------0----------0-----------------------2-------2-------------
d-----0-----------0-------------------------------------------

It all depends on how you want it to sound.

        Bon Chance!

      h - hammer on
      p - pull off
      b - bend string up
      r - release bend
      / - slide up
       - slide down
      ~ - vibrato
t - tap (with strumming hand)
      x - muted, struck string

Mike plays it on an electric sitar but folks at home can just pick closer to
the bridge.

OPEN D Tuning
d|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
a|---------------------------------------------0-----------------0-----------|
g|-----------14--11b-----------4b--2b-------4-----4-----------4-----4--------|
D|--------0-------------------0----------2-----------2-----------------------|
A|-----0---------------------0-----------------------------2-----------2-----|
D|--0-----------------------0------------------------------------------------|

1)To get to open d simply drop the 6th string(low E) to d exactly one octave
below the D(4th) string. Check with the 7th fret it should match the A string.

2)Next drop your 1st string(high e) to d exactly one octave above ur D(4th
string) and 2 octaves above the newely tuned 1st string. Check with 3rd fret
of ur b string it should match ur 1st string

3)Now drop your 2nd string(b) to an a exactly one octave higher than ur A
(5th)string. Check with the 2nd fret of the g (3rd)string.

You can play it in dropped d it doesnt quite sound as good tho.
