Gracious spirits 
You fly celestial
To the heavens, thence
 transported
And extinguished in the mist. . .

Thus cruel is time
Moaning its bitter laws 
Henceforth, voiceless silence
 Will wring my despair from me...

Arrogantly
You deceived me
And by fear
You seek to make me mad!

But, already light
I can finally see
Through the obscure air. . .
