Komodo Before the time of blade and bone When thunder walked the earth alone A shadow rose from fire and stone The dragon king, the death unknown! The island slept beneath his gaze But foolish hearts lit doubt like blaze They mocked his might, they cursed his name And woke the beast with blood and flame! Komodo Would be the first the dragon fries Spears were snapped like broken wings Skulls were crushed beneath his legs! Crawling threat, the jungle beast! On your fear it makes a feast He tore the night with blazing roar His tail a whip, his claws a war Komodo He feasted not for hunger’s sake But vengeance served on bones that break He marked the sky with smoke and ash And laughed beneath the thunder’s crash!
