Unfinished Work

KAY RISE

Composición de: Wanderson Custódio Menezes
They didn’t teach me how to be strong
It was the hard way, with pain all the time
I learned that time will never wait
And life isn't always light gray

I stumbled over the choices I made
I fell, I got up, without a guide, without waiting
Every scar I carry on my skin
Is a living page of the book I'm in

No recipe, no perfect plan
Just inner faith and observant eyes
The internal map, the silent impulse
Life teaches without a script to survive

There is no manual to be me
Just a heart trained by what it had to be
Through the falls, the dreams, the hurricane
I will call out, with or without the frame

I got lost inside my crowded mind
I faced my ghosts under natural light
But, in the silence, calm arrived
I discovered that love is always there

Now I write with my soul as ink
Without fear of failure, without a need to please
I am a work in progress, unfinished
But each of my verses knows its address

If pain knocks at my door
I'll brew some coffee, let it in
But I won't let it move inside
Life is calling and I have strength

There is no manual to be me
Just a heart trained by what it had to be
Through the falls, the dreams, the hurricane
I will call out, with or without the frame

With or without the frame
With or without the frame
