What if I could drop this?

All these false hints, still my conscience is obnoxious
It's a wrong fit, I'm repulsively in love with just a pulse
Living dishonestly, a pulp of my humanity is chasing me
A sudden change of heart creates a force that breaks apart
The walls of everything that I've involved myself with
Harm my health and caused obstructions
Never resolving the way we've lost
Under the watch of an armless clock counting on me to revert
But this time nothing connects
My sense of ambition with a sufficient cause
Am I just wasting my life
With a futile gamble, I could never conquer?
As I ponder this, the water is arising up above my neck
And starting to enthrall me with the threat of you just swallowing
A steady stream of flames to add some pain
The numbing aches throughout preventing the punishment I require
I desire highs and fire
Gives me the feeling of euphoric associations of revulsion
Feeding me into abyss!

It has to be something to relate
Rapidly, I articulate a phrase to actively convolve
Passively, I'll do what I'm told
But procrastinate until the very last moment
I hold to encapsulate everything that folds
It's not half the pain of having to accept, I'm growing older
In time, we'll be back to the unknown
Where it's fine to be the kind of being one would not condone
To negotiate anything at all
