I know you want me to entertain
don't want me to be lame don't wanna hear me say
stuff that might sober you up
and make you give a fuck
too bad, you're out of luck!
because I'm not that funny of a guy, and besides
I've got too many questions in my mind
like why do I so often resent the world I'm living in?
and am I boring you yet with the same old shit again?
did you know that change is within reach?
and it starts with ourselves.
the stuff we learn and the stuff we teach!
the willingness to be honest with ourselves
and everybody else is the first step to cooling this hell
and did you know that music is a very powerful thing?
and lyrics can be more than just mindless singing?
and maybe you can't change the world, but you can change yourself
and the music should be fun, but sometimes there's something else...
