So at least I know where we stand
It seems to me that peace is a lie
But contempt is never false
These essays I write in defense
To me they make perfect sense
But all the logic and reason in my head
Means shit to everybody else

Is this language I speak the same as yours?

This party's just getting started
Already I've lost all my old friends
Through misunderstandings and
The miracles of grapevines
I try to find another who will follow my wandering thoughts
Until they're lost in translation
