All around me I see empty promises not meant to keep
It’s the same routine, the puppeteers feed off the meek
Follow me through the streets and you’ll see this isn’t the way it’s supposed to be
And you’ll never see the bleeding heart inside of me
What kind of world leaves it’s habitants in chains
Amongst corrupted kings who claim to be the same?
It’s time to drive a stake into the cogs of the machine
So we can end this broken system and the ones who reign
They will never defeat the love and peace
If they only saw the darkness in their ways
Then we could live in harmony
They will not ever defeat our right to live our own lives
Tonight, we’ll fight to transcend above the rotting elite
This is our kingdom now
Chaos bleeds into these city streets
As we defeat the descending disease
We were shattered from rulers of decadent nature
But now we have broken free
Defeated
Wasted away
Fallen to their knees
The greater good of society
Has risen to a new beginning
