She had a way about her
She always made hot soup and cocoa
When the weather was cold
She always danced around the room
Like she was taking ballot lessons
From a five year old
And if you saw her, you'd be in love
Long before you encountered any of the above

All because of the face
I'm in love with the face
Does it seem so wrong?

Back when she was mine, I gave her praise all over the place
Mainly because of the face

I still remember the first time
We walked together on the street
And the heads would turn
Cars driving up on sidewalks,
Firemen all losing control of their hoses
While the streets would burn
And she pretended she didn't see

"Why's everybody always staring at me?"
