Standing silent in the boat
Slowly in the night we float
Getting ready for the
Operation Overlord

Men are shaking now with fear
As the costline starts to near
Men will die and
Bullets will fly

The first wave lands now on the beach
God´s helping hand is out of reach
The MG-fire tears men to shread
The goal for the mission has been set

I lay in the shallow water
and hope for best
I start to run for cover
mind full of dread

My men are falling left and right
We can´t get close enough to fight
The smell of warm blood fills the air
These bullets have no one to spare

The engineers arrive now
and set the charge
We advance together
and start to fire

We can´t hold long
They´re flanking us
We´re loosing men

Those we´re the last words that I heard
A team was ambushed in the night
Their tanks are roaming towards us
I lay low now and open fire

Our plans have not worked like we
planned before
Some troops are cut out deeper
in the land

It´s been three days from the landing
But my hands can´t stop shaking
We´ve killed so many, can´t keep a count
We´re pushing deeper into south

The Tigers overhelm us
we start to flank
My team has now lost almost
all the men
