In Stillness

Cold grim commanding hands caress me down my spine
Held captive by their lust for me I have fallen to their prey
Fierce eyes terrorize me invoking pain inside
Pursued by their haunting cries
With nowhere to run or hide

I see the demons
They are hunting me
They hold the reins of fear
They do not sleep
With outstretched arms they cry out for me
Enslaved by voices, I cease to be

Fear wounds my soul, engraves my heart
Embedded in relentless games
Forever in their grasp
Chained, much to their delight
In stillness I subside
As I bleed into nothingness I'm parted from my dreams

I see the demons

Cursed to live in the
Realms of hopelessness
Falling deeper in
By the hand of them

Now that I languish into nothingness

Unyielding dark takes home in me
I let the black unfurl
