Much Afraid

There's always someone else
Someone better than myself
Someone who lives my ideal
Doesn't matter how
Or which path I choose to go
I always turn to find
Someone stepped beyond this door
Nothing left here to explore
Someone's done all this before
Better than myself

I am so sick of my own mediocrity
I could be anything that I choose to be
Yet I belie all of my capabilities
I'm just afraid that I will fail miserably

Something to hide my failures

I must convince myself to

Learn to trust in my decisions
