All She Wanted

I built a wall
As tall as a scyscrapper
Keeping you away
From my heart so I can pretend
That you don't exist
But it's so hard to resist

When all she wanted was heaven
To help her find a way to live today
She looked up at the sky for an angel
She was caught in the wind
Crumbling and suffering within

I strapped myself
To the bottom of the ocean
Watching you from below
As you yelled my name
And said "Why did you go? Was it something I said?"
And I answered "No, precious I just have to go"

And all she wanted was heaven
To help her find a way to live today
She looked up at the sky for an angel
She was caught in the wind
Crumbling and suffering within

And I gave up on you too soon
Now you're somewhere under the moon
Alone and scared in the night (??)
But I'm no where no where in site
