Nothing here's eternal
as far as I can see
The things that we hold dear
are destined to be memories

Now as the seal is broken
We'll see how far we got
Now all that we can do
Is accept the fate we bought

We cannot be free
'til we embrace our suffering

We see in idealizations
what's there is a world apart
a consequence of different views
straddling a violent change of heart
The years of blatant disregard
have exacted their toll
for we never expected
the darkness in our souls

Now as I close my jaded eyes
and pray this skin will shed
This human race we thought we'd won
but victory was in our heads

So let the filth renew
These maggots are a gift to you
