You know the Red Sea's rising and the waves are looking kinda rough
But I want to keep on going even though the going's getting kinda tough

Sometimes you may think that the Lord doesn't see or really care
The time may well come when you think God doesn't see or really care
But ol' Pharaoh couldn't swim a lick, God knew just how to answer prayer.

I've seen my piece of action and you know I had my share,
I've been searching for the answer

It wasn't very hard, it was really quite easy, the simple thing I had to do
All I said was, "Jesus, won't You help me be true to myself and You?"
and now I have found the truth

A one-way street with a one-way sign, I couldn't make up my mind
To flow with the traffic or go my own way, but the truth I wanted to find.
Good God Almighty I'm thankin' You for helping me make the right choice
Now I can stand with innocent hands
and I can raise my voice to tell the world
