So it goes
A well trodden road
Gone are the young before they're old
Echoing
The world they're in
Where flying looks a lot like falling

I just stand there watching
You'd think I'd learnt by now

Too young to fill another hole
On your body flowers fall
And they're lovely
But I wish somebody could explain
Where my friend has gone?
Old enough to still be young
And why the hands wrapped around your throat
