So is this what we’ve come to?
No turning back we’ve signed in ink and blood

You are a failed experiment
The product of vital lessons forever neglected (and forgotten)
Now as you receive this witness
The terminal stage of human history

The final hour of the hottest day approaches
The tainted water on the shore licks at the heels of their great city
The earth begins to rumble beneath
Clouds part to reveal a carmine sky

The fires of the ego machine are spreading outward
The old inherent greed within is spreading outward
The alpha collective has caved in on itself
The alpha collective no longer spreading

Now that were brought to our knees
We crawl at the mercy of
Our own terrifying nature
We spelled our end in blood

Burn in blood we lie
Deceived by our design
The earth she crumbles in our wake
We pay the ultimate price

It’s far too cold for nostalgia
To ever awaken now
So please let me sleep with all
My warmest memories
Above me the dust blots out the Moon
Below me the place of my birth lies in ruin
We may have met our end
So let the memory live in these words
