Oath Of Darkness

The rage of wind again now gaining on me
As the storm of darkness is gathering near
Trapped in a turbulence of heightened fear
When all I had once starts to disappear

The horde of lost souls now hunting on me
Tempting me to join their strange parade
Worship the dark and night shall swallow thy sorrow
Hide your burden in the shadows

Whispered distrust, chains that lock his soul
Never ending state of chaos, bound to lose control
Growing terror raging through the night
Bound to hold the oath of darkness, promising with lies

Now he’s feeling the weight of the world
As he’s lost in this maze of lies
And he’s feeling so helpless within
Yet he’s trying to reach the light
In his eyes there’s a glimmer of hope
For tomorrow lies can be rectified
In his soul there’s a sparkle of light
Which darkness has not yet undone

He’s lying down on the ground, feeling lost within
Losing strength to go on
Can this be real or just a dream?
Falling shadows drown deeper into the void

He feels a change within his soul
A subconscious force alters who he once was
A child of light now drawn to night
Trying anxiously escape the pain he feels yet now all he hears is

With this eternal oath I swear

To sleep, to dream of a place where darkness covers my sorrow
To hear and see the wind caressing leafs of tomorrow
To hold, to feel each passing moment of this night and its glory
To love, to live each new moon as it rises the tide I’m on
And heal scars of yesterday now bleeding inside my soul
To close the door to my past and set my gaze for a new kind of dawn
