Phoenix Rising

It felt like a spark of a gunshot
Tearing my senses apart
The numbness had wrapped all my fingers
The pain was inside my heart
I stopped and I tried just to face it
My soul was all paralyzed
The twist and the turn of the fortune
God leading me to hell
In front of my eyes there's a stranger
Who's smirking without a smile
His evil is spreading like sewer rats
Sorrounding this place
The light in my sight is pale
It's warming the frozen skin
Like a Phoenix
I'll be rising from the ashes of pride

One thousand souls of the dead men
Breaking the silence by hatred
There's only one way to crawl out
Holding on to my hope 'till I rise from this hell

I won't be a sacrifice
To the losers without a dream
This blindin' light is fading away now
Freeing me from the pain

I feel there's a sound in my right brain
