Searching For a Reason to Carry On

All I ever wanted was a place to call my home, your hand to hold.
Watch it all fade away, watch my love fall short of my dreams.
I drown in sorrow, take one last look back, at what is left. I can't continue to live like this, when will this emptiness pass? Carrying images of yesterdays.
