Floating up from a dream
I tremble with cold
In emptiness I am whole
To nourish desperation

And the night lasts longer
A glowing dark
Weariness overcoming

Fools laughter
Destined to fall
Groping blindly for anything
Slipping forward into nothing

I surrender to all things that come
As I sing odes to my history
Knowing all can be rewritten
woven into strength

I hear the whispers
Hold up the sky
Nothing to hold me back
Consuming the layers of time

Knowing all was decided

Inevitable
Endlessly caught in the undertow

Finding my way to the bottom
Finally I am the one with fullness of life
