The seed of life
Resown, resown
Nurtured by a stream of tears
Flowing back to earth
New life harvested

Thickening the air
Breathing in water
Something is missing
Someone is gone
And grief scars over

Lingering
Blossoming
Slipping away
Forget, yet always remember

Learn to live
Embrace the pain
Wait for comfort
Finding none
Grief finds us all

So much left undone
Now I cannot stay
Though my time is short
I savor each moment with peace
Look beyond my shadow
I hold fast
Chasing the endless void
