Conflict Within

Sometimes it takes me a time
To see the things that are going on in my mind
Nothing but fear seems to disturb all my senses
No matter how hard I have tried
Last night I was woken disturbed by nightmares
That are always hunting me down

Nothing scares me, but I still think if one day
If I’ll be free for the darkest cloud
Seek for the fire as the mist’s going higher
No matter what’s coming. Just believe without seeing
My mind is going darker
As the things become brighter
The only companion I’ve got is a conflict within
Last night I was walking on the street and
I thought to myself I was walking alone

Then I turned back, I was looking for answers
I found I was the only one
Since I was born I’ve been raised by parents
Who’s been telling me of jobs and of school
Leaving that thought, I begun to find answers
Then I found all the truth

Seek for the fire as the mist’s going higher
No matter what’s coming. Just believe without seeing
My mind is going darker
As the things become brighter
All my thoughts filled with conflict within
