Crossing and Crosses

Crossings and corsses, I've heard someone say:
The way through this life should be lighter
Oohh! And I was carrying my cross
How many more roads must I cross?

Talked to a frind that I've met in the way
I'm so lost and I'm tired of this whole thing.
Can't find me a reason to work or to live
And this load seems to be just too heavy
