Forest of the Tortured

The time you've chosen
Was full of fear
You had a thirst for blood
Your kingdom had to pay

The need for power
and for respect
They had to knee below you,
Serve their tyrant master

All the enemies who
Dared to fight
They shall regret until
Your mercy let them die
But was it you who feared
For what is worse than death
Deep buried in your soul,
The demon that was stronger than you

" We could see them there,
In screams of torture
The pain so brutally
We could not stand the view

With eyes so helplessly
They begged for death
But 'til they died the agony
Was driving them insane

As we were walking on
We saw the forest
Was filled with trees, on each one
A human being died "

So they began to cry as
They faced your cruelty
And turned around for they knew
There's no chance in fighting evil itself

You vanished long ago
Left terror in their minds
Left a land soaked in blood
Left shattered minds to die

Today you're still alife
You live inside our nightmares
