Worth It

Sometimes I get anxious and fixate on how I wish that I could
Be less apprehensive and start pretending like
The time's not catching up with me

Before I'm ready
'Cause I have so much left I wanna finish
With no guarantee that
Everything I'm chasing won't outpace me
It's a race that I'm so scared of losing
So I keep moving

Isn't it strange knowing one day
The people we become are going to fade?

I'm happy for the people who find comfort in a higher power
Feel a sense of purpose in their certainty
That there is more than all of this
It makes me jealous

In all the ways a person thinks I should be
