In the dungeons of death the pendulum waits
The blade plays its tune, it whispers my name
I stare into blackness, the bottomless pit
My inquisition, the torturer’s kiss

Darkness, at wait for my end to come soon
Madness, the pendulum waits in my tomb

My senses explode, illusions appear
With every heartbeat the first cut draws near
My courage deserts me, I can’t chain the feel
I’m screaming in terror, but no one can hear

Darkness, above me the pendulum swings
Madness, around me the torture begins
Sadness, memories of life seem to fade
Heartless, I’m trapped like a beast in a cage

My mind drifting back to life lived before
Happier times with my wife I adore
How did I come to this evil place?
Shackled and bound, my life in disgrace

Lost here without you, please hear my prayer
Fallen from grace, and wait in despair
Life will soon end, I face the abyss
Too young to die, I can’t go like this
