A little girl, once bright and pure
Now is lost in darkness, forever obscure
Her grip was tight, her hold was strong
It whispered words, so cruel and wrong
It made her doubt, It made her fear
It drove her mad, so far from here
A princess came, so subtle and sly
It crept into her mind

The princess took control and twisted her thoughts
It making her see things that couldn't be sought
It forced her to hurt, to harm herself
To isolate from all and keep the pain to oneself

The girl was trapped in a world of pain
The princess's grip driving her insane
She longed for escape, for freedom and light
But the princess within refused to take flight
