Blue Lips Under Green Grass

It's a beautiful day here in your garden
With the sun so high all the birds sing out a song or two for you (what a wonderful sound)
And the warmth of the sun, it creeps down to me
Oh it's been so long since i felt it's touch, it makes me feel alive (what a beautiful day)

But I've been dreaming of those days when you still called me Love
You opened up my eager eyes
You took my tender hands in yours and smiled upon my soul, with love the held fast to my heart
Up until that fateful winter's day

It was a beautiful scene out in your garden
How the snowflakes fell on the white capped trees, they let us feel so free (cherished memories of ours)

But how you broke my heart when you broke my skull in two
You took my life with just one swing

Now I lay here alone, stuck in this cold home
Making friends with worms and I'm listening in to moles making small talk (what a strage life they live)
As I look up and watch how he smiles at you
