Liberation from death

He left heaven's brightness behind
came in the middle of mankind
he brought the light to the darkness
the Saviour had arrived

He gave his life for sacrifice
so he fulfilled God's complete plan
then was paid a horrible price
as he died for every man

because I have deserved endless death

so that I would have eternal life

He won the death
and rose from the grave
gates of Hades can't overcome
because he's the holy Son of God
trough his holy blood
all of my sins are forgiven
trough his death and resurrection
I have the right to live forever

your blood washes my sins away

your love lifts me from death
