In the Garden

As I was walking through the garden
The sky was turning black
The moment seemed to last forever
At least I likened it to that
The rain like blood came down upon us
Tangled in our hair
As I was walking through the garden
And I saw her standing there

As I was walking through the garden
Where the snake had made its home
Her eyes were wilder than the wildest
Forest I have known
The wind screamed out its warning
But we did not seem to care
As I was walking through the garden
And I saw her standing there

And they say that love is all we have
And they say that love is always right
And to lose yourself in love
Is to finally see the light
I been through hell to get to heaven
But now I've lost myself it seems
Walking through the garden of dreams

As I was walking through the garden
I thought I heard her say
You must prove for me your love
And you must do so here today
