Out of Sight, Out of Mind

Eyes forced shut
Mind is closed off from the world, hes alone
Got nothing left to life for, or so it seems
The only thing around to make a sound
Is a broken down radio, a broken down highway
Everything seems to be broken down around here.

A two lane highway
Only one way is the right way
If you take a wrong turn
At least it will be learned
Not to do that again

Night comes on
Too quickly to turn the lights on, hes not scared
Because he left it all back there, now it seems
With the horrors left behind, out of sight out of mind
Or so wed like to believe, for him and his sanity
But hope seems to be so far on the horizon.
