As Night Falls

Night boils beyond the light of day
furious it will break free and may
awake the minds of those who've been
blinded by solar rays

Arise they shall and walk the way
of darkness through a world of decay
and behold the scars, yet unseen
left where the light has frayed

Every soul was led astray
now all that's left are ashes gray
This storm will leave a land serene
when the cinders has blown away

This sudden loss of daylight
will spread tremendeous fear
but nevermind the fright
just know the night is near

Don't you grope about
and clutch unto the light
just stop your frightened shouts
instead adapt you sight

When the sun has set
then the moon shall rise
and recognize the threat
that it must fight to rule the skies
