Questions In Heaven

I have some questions to ask you
Some may not make sense and
Some are really ridiculous but I'm
I'm gonna have to wait until heaven

I have some things I wanna do
Like runnin down the streets of gold
And I'll give you a nice hug too but I'm
I'm gonna have to wait until heaven

'Cause I'm gonna make it there someday
I wanna see those gates
And ask you a bunch of things
Like what was the fruit in that garden
That started it all
And is it still a thing

Can I follow you around 24/seven
While I go on and on about a million question
Questions I'll have for you in heaven

Everybody has questions to ask you
Some are ones we all would ask
I bet there's really unique ones too but we
We're gonna have to wait until heaven

And we have some songs we wanna sing
Like sing holy holy
Sing with the angels sing holy
But we're gonna have to wait until heaven

'Cause I'm gonna make it there someday
I wanna see those gates and
Ask you a bunch of things
Like how many stars are in the sky
I couldn't count if I tried
It seems there's infinity

Can I walk along with you all day long
We can sing a couple of our favorite songs
Questions I'll have for you in heaven

And if I prayed to you
Would I look right at your face and really talk with you
While I thank you for your grace and
How your love took my place and
Handled things I couldn't face all on my own

'Cause when I make it there someday I'll
Run right through those gates and
Ask you a couple things

Did all the ones that I hold dear and
Closest friend ever make it here
Can I go and see them now

Until then I'm counting down until forever with you
Counting down the time so I can meet you
