Age Of Reason

Here at the age of reason
You see so proud and tall
The arrogance of people
The greed will burn us all

To the common folk and workers
The emperor will proclaim
"You know you're not deserving"
It's such a crying shame
The waste of human power
To keep it all the same
The death of possibility
Crushing the souls of men

Now at the end of time
I see people passing by
Turning their heads
To not see the fact
Just a speck of dust
Floating in the universe
Is all we'll ever be
So don't you, don't you bother me

Don't you tell me what is real and what is not
In my mind I see the things that you forgot
Try and feel the way you know you once did
