Window Of Peace

i stare
through my window
i ponder
how peacelful time can autumn be
silence
as nature slowly prepares to sleep

i can feel
this peaceful moment inside myself
and i wonder how all troubles seem to be so far away
peace whispers in my ears

i sigh
as leafs drop from the trees
but i smile
because this moment is a promise
truth that new life grows after the winter

i can feel

and i wonder why nature seems to be so much wiser than people are...
