Tono:
C G Eb It starts with an idea or an
F impulse to make a sound,
C G And then a message gets sent to my
Eb head where my vocal chords are
F found.
Bb F And they vibrate, and cause the
C air to vibrate too.
Bb Then the air gets shot out of my
F G mouth on its way to you!
C G This vibration I've just made
Eb F travels as a wave,
C G But if I vibrated differently then
Eb F it would cause the wave to change.
Bb F If I sing low then the frequency
C of the wave drops.
Bb F If I sing high then the frequency is high too. And if I sing loud then my
G micro-phone pops!

C G The sound wave travels through the
Eb F air unless it hits a wall
C G Then the higher frequencies get
Eb absorbed and the deeper ones pass
F through
Bb And that's why when I'm behind a
F C window I sound like this.
Bb F And if the wall is hard the sound bounces back and you can hear an
G echo!
C The sound is captured by my
G Eb F micro-phone and sorted digitally,
C G That was until you play this video
Eb and now your speakers are
F mimicking me
Bb F And now the waves are back and
C going into your ear.
Bb Only 6 more steps inside your head
G until you get to hear!
C G Bb Sound is touch at a distance,
F C G When they say that music can
Bb F touch you, it literally does.
C G Bb Sound is a vi-ber-ation,
F C G But thanks to modern science we
Bb can know that it's shaking our eardrums:
Bb And the drum then shakes some tiny bones
C And the bones send vibrations to a liquid
Bb And the waves in the liquid bend some hairs
C And the hairs send a signal to the brain
Bb And it's only when it forms a
C pattern in your head that you can
G hear!
