Solitude

In my solitude I wander
These endless realms consume me
The light of day I no longer see
Swallowed by a veil of my own complications
Your look haunts me
Tracking me down with every breath
You I can no longer see
Trapped in this pain
What must be done
Is something I do not want to do
I wait hoping for what will never come
It pains me to do so
Like a thousand pins in my eyes
Your placid eyes fixed upon mine
Is all I can see
The divine light above you
Piercing my eyes
Death ensues
Closing in closer with every step
My eyes burned with my love for you
I only wish to ask but one thing
Will you join me
But it is beyond my power
And for this I lurk in brooding sadness
These eyes have seen enough
They have grown weary from ages
The light fades as darkness arises
You grow anxious as it unfolds
