Night, lead me away
Wrap me in your cloak
And hold my hand with your soothing one

Drag me away
Far from the meaningless, unceasing, tedious repetition of mechanical actions
Automatic in my everyday life, which are annihilating me!

Enlightened by Darkness, as a Silene Noctiflora does
I can show my soul as if it were starlight in the nightsky
My flame once extinguished is lit and fed again by drops of wine
And by shreds of dimness, as if they were blood and vital breath
