My wife was sick, so i prayed
But you decided to take her away

You should have taken me in her place

“is there a reason?”

I don't recall falling asleep
Last night was the anniversary
I was at work–it's all that i have
To keep from going crazy in this empty house
Then a light came in the form of a man
I hit the floor and i lifted my hands

Then it told me the lord will come soon
To eat the passover in my extra room
