The closest to god
That i've known was my uncle
He was a monk in a japanese temple
He quit smoking for my athema
Through the brother who is my father
Remarried a life-time smoker

My uncle died when i was 15
After the funeral,
My father smoked even worse
He became a grumpy man
And hurt his love
He was just scared to lose more
But took the wrong way home

Some people in the world say
Certain people are the evil
Here is what i've come to realize

We all have emptiness within our souls
We break down so often
When a loved one is lost
Nothing comes from nothing

God doesn't fight
Just for his own good
But the human and the humans
What are we fighting for
Look around us

Earth doesn't care

My father's now single
And he's hardly on his own
Now i am twenty also hardly on my own
I became to talk to him little by little
Cause i gained something like a faith
Instead of a religion

Some people bow to the sky
And some pray for mercy
Here is what i've come to sympathize
