Waves always seem to break
Further down the beach
In someone else’s sea
Grace you can not escape
Pulls from underneath
Silence in the deep

God always seems to talk
To everyone but me
When I’m here listening

True death with dignity
Is living life in peace

Death greets you like a friend
Strolling by the lake
