The Bleeding

Painted in black it smiles towards me
The forlorn hopes fiery strains impale me

From sanguine skies, as wept by fallen grace
Poured into the naked wounds of bitterness

Blood of false serenity
Blood of sacred impurity
Brought unto us mere everdying

Through me they burn

I break these circles of dreadful pain
Scorch these lost lives to never be again
With scarred eyes so vapid and cold
Come enrich my dwelling with your desolate sights
…dying sights…

A silent remembrance reflects within…
A contiguity so fierce, it's bursting through my flesh

Rivers of fire consume me… consume me!
And shed from your grieving womb the tears of falseness…
Bleed upon me with hate!

Caress me malicious shadows
Open wide you exquisite blackness
And devour me in macabre passion
