how stupid is this thing we do
smiling at our enemies
we talk to almost anyone
who could be useful
i ask myself where d'i go wrong?
don't insult my intelligence
i know the way it goes
i wanna talk about the sky
the sea or philosophy
and about wars and books
and all my favourite little drugs
oh, what a lot i hate this feeling of elite
talking for hours about a record or a guitar
YOU PAY I PLAY for you
when you make punk rock a serious thing
you kill it
i know the importance of what i do and say
and i also know the importance
of those around me
but, remember, thats only entertainment
