The Enemy so Bold

The day turns into night the enemy's in sight
They make their way to the village they burn it, hear the cries?
The mother's in their homes, they burn and turn to stone
You cannot cope, end up jumping in the moat
The madness will not stop they burn all the crops
A legion of opposing knights confronts them at the town

Swinging flails then your face goes pale
The famine has begun your whole family looks frail
Deserters will be thrown in jail insurgency has failed
Lock you in the deepest dungeon malnourishment prevails
What's left of your home resembles coal
The wind blows cold as you lose hope
The true scope the bodies froze
Death throes as your heart slows

Destined for protection from the enemy so bold
We march towards the corrupt kingdom and raid their keep for gold
I have no doubt in mind I know that well prevail
We march towards uncertainty our families in our prayers
Children cry out for fathers and those that we lost in the fight
They lay rotting in the field amongst the death and plight
Heavens encircle our keep to protects from death
