Pity

Land starts to shiver, snails from the tip of the earth, rattle of the blisters, turn down to meet, meters of salt, clue to wind stolen sand, sullen, circled, bulbing movements at hand

Consistant as I suffer
Locking it up inside
Marking it all softly
Joining me undercover
Look at my head go by
I stop then I recover
