Money Cometh

Turned on the TV on a Saturday night,
Nothin' worth watchin', well now that ain't right.
I flicked the channel on the cable TV
And there's some preacher lookin' back at me.
(saying) "Send me your money, plant your seed".
(well it) feels like commitment, but it smells like greed.
(he said) "I'll give you all the magic words to say
To make your money problems go away".

(just say) Money cometh; money cometh;
Money cometh; that's what he said.

Another preacher said, "don't pay your bills;
Send them to me and I'll cure your ills.
We'll stack 'em all up in a great big pile
Then we'll light 'em on fire and we'll pray for awhile".
I got to tell ya, I'm a little bit afraid;
I think the bill collector wants to get paid.
When he comes knockin' at my front door,
I think he's gonna want to hear some more
