Drowning in Mediocrity

Kept under the spell of the seven seas
The crushing of waves, the pounding of the rocks
Doomed to live on a placid island of ignorance
In the midst of this black sea of infinity

Tormented by these constant nightmares
Haunting me ... haemorrhaging ...
Unable to escape the visions i encounter
Visions where i'm drowning in mediocrity ...

Wishing how this mortal world would suffer
Unbearable pain and no way to recover
Forced to bare witness this dreadful bleak existence
And once again the cycle just repeats

Trapped forever inside my own fucked up mind
Dealing with isolation for such a long time
Torn apart by loneliness on the edge of insanity
The years are starting to take it's toll

Still refusing to be freed from this everlasting spell
That forever seems to hold my tarnished soul captive
As those painful torturous dreams appear once more
Cephalalgic sharpening affliction, more twinging than ever before

I feel alone in a world driven by greed and false morality
The stagnation of humankind, unsilent waves cave in my mind
Aching pain has now become too severe, i feel my head implode
I close my eyes and am finaly able to depart from this realm

One last time i encounter these visions
Visions of where i'm drowning in mediocrity
I can't help but to feel relieved
While the rest of this world keeps on drowning into their own stupidity
