At The Time

I hit the road, around noon
About 5 hours to the show
The scenery made me think
And time seemed to pass so slow
I thought about what I could do
If I had my time again
And I could have said the wrong thing back then
And I may say bad again
I could have made the wrong choice back then
And I may choose bad again
But that's ok I did the best I could
I felt that it was good at the time, at the time
Now each day at some point
I like to think about my lesson learned
As long as I do the best I can
Nothin' that I do right now is wrong
If I operate in the present
Everything I do right now is right
And I could still make a bad turn yet
Yes I'm sure that I will
And I could yet put myself in the red
And I probably will
That's ok I'll do the best I can
