Promised Land

There's a land of safety there's a land of rest
There's a land of plenty where the children are blessed
There's a fountain flowing from the throne of grace
And God Himself is that restful place

Jesus is our promised land
Jesus is our resting place
Protected by His mighty hand
We gaze into His lovely face
He has led us from the wilderness
To this pastureland of grace
Jesus is our promise land our resting place

Jesus calls to the weary " Come to Me and be blessed"
When you cease from your own works
You will enter My rest
Oh the Jordan's flowing won't you cross it today
Let God Himself be your resting place
